There's A Unicorn in the Garden!

There’s a unicorn in the garden! Normally, you’d be excited, right? It’s a shimmery, shiny, color-changing unicorn, after all! …Unfortunately, this one really likes carrots and he’s in no hurry to leave.

I’m so excited to share this playful story about a generous little girl who gets more than she bargained for after happening upon a unicorn in her shrubs. She must stand up for her garden produce before a pesky unicorn tells his friends and becomes a real problem. (Imagine a whole infestation of hungry unicorns gobbling up your lettuce!) Told from a first-person perspective, it’s easy for kids to imagine themselves as the hero who has to think fast in order to stop the greedy unicorn from coming back.
